July Days to play!

July 7th and 21st starting at 7pm we'll have our Celestial Tournaments with TPW legal and the promos up to 8/1/2010 being legal so if it is on this http://www.l5r.com/promo-legality/ list and is legal for anything but Empire At War you can use it. So we will be playing the gencon environment with the exception of IG3 (which isn't out yet and may or may not be legal for gencon).

Entry fee will be $5 and prizes will be based upon participation.

IG3 will be legal for GenCon. I'll see if I can make it on the 21st. May be busy.

EDIT: Oh, and it's short notice, but would any be wanting to go to a tournament in Anderson, SC this Sunday? I'm looking for someone to split gas with.

I'll be working all weekend so I'm a no go for that Anderson tournament sorry to say, not to mention Sundays are no good for me even when i'm not working.

I should be there on the 21st as well. Hopefully, IG3 will be in and I can pick up a copy.

Unfortunately, unless I apply for the day off of work about 4 weeks or greater in advance, it's not possible to get the day off. Plus, we are so short staffed that switching with part-timers isn't really viable either.

Are you planning on going to Gencon? I've never really considered it since anime cons tend to take precedence for me.

Well GenCon this year should be very awesome since it is the 15 year l5r party. There are usually Clan "Dinners" where you can meet and greet those who are active on the boards and tons of tournaments etc etc. I won't be going to GenCon with a newborn on the way in December vacation time and money are at a premium, but I would recommend going to anyone who has time and money for it. Beyond the L5R stuff there is anything and everything gaming you can think of not to mention testing stuff that hasn't been released yet it is kinda like the E3 of non-video games.

In the event that the store does not have IG3 by Weds (which is likely) feel free to proxy any cards you want that you don't have. Just ensure the card text is accurate using the pdf found on L5R's website.
