I know the event kicks off at 9:30, but I'm not sure when exactly I'll be there. Like I said the gaming starts at 11, but there are some other events I might want to attend.

EDIT: Scratch that. I think I'll actually be there some time after 1.

I plan to be at Fanaticon for part of the day. Which part hasn't really been decided. I need to do some work in Mills River sometime tomorrow but my schedule is still flexible.

I was out there for a while today and while the convention was pretty packed, the gaming area was pretty dead. It may have been dead because they put gaming on the 3rd floor. Or maybe because once you exited the elevator, there were no signs to help you find the room down the hall that had tables. That part of the con was poorly thought out...

If I wasn't so busy this season and had the weekend off I would have done something to assist the organization as I have a few times with Dragoncon and Animazement in the past. Just wasn't going to happen this time though. Unfortunately cons thrive on the backs of their volunteers and they die just as quickly from the same source. I don't mind lending a hand when I have the time especially at Animazement their staff has always been fun to work with. Maybe if the con comes back next year we can do something more 'official' with them.
