August Days to play

Well let us see it should be August 4th and 18th, however I won't be able to play on the 4th my Mother is coming in town for a couple of days and that would probably not go over well with my wife at all Though you guys are more then welcome to get together without me.

On a side note having lots of fun playing in a 'play by post' forum 4th Edition L5R RPG game in my spare time. Though this time running a shugenja for the first time which is a learning experience lol. If you haven't gotten a copy of the book I recommend it they have managed to simplify some things fairly well and the variety of information in the book both mechanics and fluff wise is pretty significant. Nate should be able to order you a copy due to the select interest in that item it is doubtful he will keep it on the shelves.

I'll try and stop by on the 4th and hang out for a little while since I'll finally be free. Any sign of IG3 yet?

IG3 due to gencon ramp up (or so I understand) will be released at Gencon possibly first then to stronghold stores. They are trying to get it sent out before then, but when ya got like two people working on a job that big it can take a long time especially with other things on the plate to get ready for Gencon. Good news is I am working an angle trying to get our little playgroup some gencon promos, no promises, but I am trying.

Well missing a day of play has me looking forward to the 18th, though did find out that it is a baby girl on the way so well worth it. The maddening thing right now is waiting for the ever so slow trickle of information out of GenCon the Winner's Choice is done as is the Main Event up to the top 16 cut. Everyone meta'ing against LSC pretty much killed Crane (none in the top highest Crane is like 44th and only 3 participated). The top 16 by Clan are:

That pro-Jigoku Spider crew manage to win some events man that is crazy. On a side note Hillside Games will be moving to a new larger location, I will post the details as to the where and when as soon as I get them. Everything else is staying the same though so no need for concern, it is supposed to be a location near their current one. The extra space will certainly be welcome though it was starting to get a little cozy in there even during weekdays at times.
